My Happy Place – “The Gulf” Part 1
The Gulf is a special place. I was lucky to life there for about 6 years from 2013. A little fishing village called King Ash Bay near Borroloola located on the McArthur River. I try and go back there as often as I can.
My trips back there seem to keep getting bigger and better.
After getting home from the trip and backing up all the footage from the trip, I found that I had accumulated over 700GB of footage in over 1,300 individual video files from 7 different cameras.
It has been a mammoth task putting this series together, but it has all been worth it.
Introducing PART 1 of THE GULF.
In part 1 I drive about 3 quarters of the way to King Ash Bay on the first day (about 800km) and set up the swag along the Carpentaria Highway. On day 2 I meet up with my good mates Ash and Bullfrog at King Ash Bay and we go Barramundi fishing up the creek.
