I had not seen my mate Johnny H for about 3 years. We have been mates for almost 20 years, and he had not yet visited me in the Northern Territory since I moved here in 2013.

So this was the trip of a lifetime for him and his family.

He loaded up his truck and caravan and started the big 3,000km journey to Darwin, NT. On the list of things he wanted to do while he was here was to go fishing and also to see some wild crocodiles. I knew the perfect place to go where we could do both of those things. Corroboree Billabong.

We saw loads of Saltwater Crocodiles and Freshwater Crocodiles, heaps of birds and wildlife, and of course we did some fishing.

Corroboree Billabong is just over an hour drive from Darwin heading down the Arnhem Highway as you head towards Kakadu.
