Fishing the fresh water for some big winter Barramundi. I head out fishing with my mates Ash and Bullfrog in the little tinny. We had a sensational day, with the highlight being Bullfrog’s big Barra.

Throughout the day we landed several big Barra, all on lures. Bullfrog caught his one on a big surface popper. The rod and reel he used has a great story too. It had been underwater when his house flooded during Cyclone Alfred in 2017. It’s the only rod and reel that he owns, and the only lure too. The lure has been on that line pretty much since the fishing rod was brand new.
